Prolong Your Projector Lamp Life
Projector replacement lamps cost anywhere from $200-$400 to replace. Most projectors have a lamp life of about 3000-4000 hours. Treat your projector like you would your car. You would not leave your car idling for long periods of time and you also do not need to leave your projector on when it is not directly in use .
- Turn off the projector when not in use
- Set the projectors brightness level to low (use the menu option on the remote to do this)
- Clean the projector filter regularly (once a month or every two weeks depending on room dust)
- Use the A/V Mute button when you want to temporarily (1-2 minutes) turn off the projector. If you need it off longer than 2 minutes then turn it off completely.
