Planning for 2026-2027

Comanche ISD is committed to maintaining a safe and secure learning environment for all students and staff. Beginning with the 2026–2027 school year, the district will implement a transparent (clear) backpack requirement for all students in grades 6–12.

This initiative is designed to enhance campus safety by allowing for greater visibility of backpack contents, helping to deter prohibited items and support efficient security practices on our campuses. Clear backpack policies are increasingly used in schools to improve safety and make it easier to identify potential concerns quickly.

School Registration 2026-2027 is coming in JULY of 2026!

 

If you already have students attending our schools, use the Ascender Parent Portal program to pre-register them.  If you have new students, go to the Enrollment Forms tab at the top of the page and click on Forms and Instructions.

We have exciting news and would like to introduce ourselves. Comanche ISD has contracted with Texas Rural School Transportation (TXRST) for student transportation services. TXRST currently contracts transportation with districts throughout the State of Texas. Closest to Comanche we contract with Brownwood ISD as well as Early ISD.
